I got it at adorama for 420 bucks in excellent condition! After realizing that all my favorite photographers shoot with film it seems, I thought I'd give it a try. this is SO FAST!

I'll post some pictures when I get them. I just thought I'd share.

I was drooling over the F5 for years. I finally decided that my F100 was great and I didn't want all the extras. I can't believe you got it for that cheap!! Awesome smile.gif

I have to say though. You were one of my various inspirations to think about switching to film. Why are you switching to digital now? Just wondering smile.gif

Awesome! I've always wanted an F5... That's the camera that changed the way cameras were made - even on the dark side. 8 fps... coooool.

And to think I paid $1000 for my F100 back in the day (which wasn't all that long ago, come to think of it smile.gif ).

Still have the F100 though. It's a great camera... wanna trade?

My F4 was $1200 used in 1994. Still want an F5 soooo bad, I just don't want to pay for processing.

I've got two of them just gathering dust. I just can't let go of them because of sentimental reasons. I'm going to place them in a display case one day along with my F-3.
