I've been searching all over the web, and it seems this is impossible... but does anyone know how to setup PSCS2, 3 or Lightroom so that when I first import images from my Canon 5D (or 30D) it doesn't apply any of its own preset processing but instead applies whatever in-camera presets I may have selected using the well known Canon Picture Styles?
I love to use the Picture Styles because I have them all custom set, but I also shoot RAW and don't want two images (RAW + jpeg) if at all possible.
Thanks for any advice!

I think that's a big fat no. Neither Canon nor Nikon share their secret JPG recipes with Adobe, so you'll have to use the Canon Software to process them if you want the signature Canon Picture Styles from RAW files.
Sorry....

Jules, unfortuanately, the only way is to use DPP that came with your 5D. ACR cannot do it.
