So sometimes I'm tired and right now I'm buried just like everyone else and frankly I don't know how y'all survive the wedding season! But then I get to go be part of one of the most important days in a couple's life. And I get to photograph incredible moments and I become aware that they will keep these photos forever.

I really believe that our jobs are a sacred responsibility. By some crazy chance that doesn't stress me out. Instead it feels like an amazing gift to have someone put their day in your hands.

(But I still breathe a private sigh of relief when I like the images...)

Awwww. Thanks y'all! I'm having so much fun photographing weddings and it's just so cool to be able share the images! And to get comments back from photographer's whose work I adore? Wow. This just feels really, really cool. Thank you!

I'm so excited that y'all love that photo of Mary's big eyes too! And I just loved how the light was coming around her just a smidge. I put the color version in their post on the blog, but even with her huge blue eyes I think I actually like it best in black & white. Hmmm.

I have always loved the mountains and had so much fun photographing there.
Never have I handed out so many biz cards at an event before...
The makeup artist, hair stylist, pedicure lady, consierge & staff at the hotel, the dj, the caterers ... and of course the B&G's friends and family all took loads of cards that day.
