I am truthfully not making this up.

I have debts. Way too many student loan debts. If someone handed me $600 today, I'd have to seriously consider how that money could be used for student loan stuff. I'm pretty good at spending money on myself, though, so maybe that's why it's hard (that and a fun trip to the mall today for a haircut and makeup so I could feel like a real person again ;-))

I am padding our savings right now in the event the business dies in the winter- I don't want my babies to go without groceries!!!

I'd totally turn it into $1 bills, put it in the bathtub, and swim in it Scrooge McDuck style.

I do the same with nickels.

Ok ok, the crowd has spoken! I put $500 is savings, and i'm finally going to buy the Show-It web slideshow...

since it is unexpected...why not pretend it is $300 and save 1/2? Then you get the best of both worlds!

Since 10% of my income goes directly into savings each month, I voted for new gear. I could use the quantum turbo 2x2 -- tired of the turbo losing it's juice too fast at receptions. Maybe I'm working her too hard... LOL
