Well, this was our first really big wedding... I know it isn't big compared to others though! For me, it was our biggest yet! This party almost never ended.

As usual I over processed some, but the bride likes them so I am happy!

Tawny, I know you're fairly knew to the wedding market, but you're doing ok girl! You've got a good eye & you've captured some "moments" that others may have skimmed over. I don't know what it is about that first shot that I really like - I think partly it's because it's like no one in it knows you're even taking the shot & it feels like they've just won an Oscar or something! I can't quite put my finger on it but I really like it!

You hit the nail on the head at the end of your post ... "the bride likes them so I'm happy". If you're keeping your clients happy, then you're definitely doing something right! smile.gif

SEEING RED! It's my favorite color! I agree with Sofie, you are doing supah! Loving the processing on that last picture. TFS

Thank you both! Of course Sofie, anything that captures your attention makes me swell with pride.

Rowena; you are just always too nice and have something so kind to say... Thank you very much!

Just out of curiousity... are these images better for display? I don't know if it is my post processing or just crappy photography, but I get so little response from my post and I really would like some critique or anything regarding my work. I am open to hearing that they just don't work for people or suggestions for better photos... is it just me?
Tawny
Bump... Just a little bump in request of some more critique please...???? Just wondering if the processing is working for this set or not? 51.gif

I would be much appreciative....

I like some of your photos. Did a real good job. Some of them are over processed for my taste. I am still a huge believer, if the color pops, make it pop more. If there is great emotion, nothing beats black and white. I do like some of the textures that I have seen other photographers doing, but I don't see me adding to it. Nothing pops more than red, so I would showcase that more. The red tint with the bride holding the boy, I just don't like the postprocessing. Love the cake, the shots in the first post, the 1st shot the dancing shot. the lights at the reception. you did a great job capturing. As I said, this is just my taste, the main thing is the bride is happy.

A big thank you! I am so thankful that you shared that with me. I have been doing a lot in the red black and white so it definitely something I should really look at and verify before using. Again, your constructive view was much appreciated. I learn from you guys and if you don't share then I don't learn...
