Full Version: Showit for all of it

I posted this question on DJ's weblog, so I will repost (thanks tim for directing me this way :-) )

I understand that showit is designed to rapidly create images to be used in slideshows, but what is to say that you could not use it as a huge part of your post wedding workflow? I'm new to photoshop as a whole and I kick myself over and over again because I know my images have the potential to look far better but I don't know how to do it yet - I am wondering if showit will be an answer to both the slideshow and the photoshop handicap?

You know, I was wondering the same thing. I think it works on small files and then flattens them, but you may be able to stop it before that gets done. Other folks want to know!

I don't think it has to be a small file. It can be any .jpg file I believe and I think they ware working on the RAW file side. I also think you can 'click and save' to flatten, ect or don't save and just press done so you can futher manipulate the files. But I don't really know..... blink.gif

Great question and the print version is coming soon. It requires some extra programming but there will be some killer automation capabilites that could possibly allow for a fully automated post production workflow! Can you imagine that!!!
