Okay been reading about TTD sessions and in the middle of the night just before a vacation day on Sunday, I thought why not do one while we are in the most fun city here in Ca!

We have had this dress I bought for 20 dollars just sitting around and our daughter Lindsay who is a photog...not a model... agreed to dress up for us and fortunately it fit
her!

We just quickly put a slideshow together...remember this was on the fly! Didnt have time to do hair and make up so alot of shots are such that we focused mostly on the dress and enviroment....we also wanted something fun to try out all the cool presets in Light Room!!!Oh we totally plan on doing more! Its was so such fun! Lets you be creative without the pressure and timeline of a wedding day! Cant wait to do another one...already have a bride who wants to do one and we have some great ideas for that!

Would love to get some feedback ...anyone? I know its not really trashing the dress but it sure was alot of work to get the sand out of the bottom! Does that qualify?

Thanks you guys!!! I am so glad to get someone else's opinion...I love then of course because it is my daughter but I wanted to get some thoughts for next time when we do it for real!

Denise...I cant wait to get someone down and dirty into the water. One thing is for sure that I am taking note of! Have a plan for them after the job if you live 2 hours away. We still had dinner to go to before we headed home so we went easy on her. lol

Next time we will find a way to set up a shower and change of clothes somewhere before long drive home.

PS Denise we used to live 30 min south of you in Biggs...about 10 years ago...love the shots we have seen of your TTD session you guys did up there!!!

I think it's awesome! I think the water-lying ones are kind of blah- it always reminds me of Frodo in the swamp with the dead people.

I will never see a TTD quite the same way now!

Plus there is something about asking your own daughter to get down in the water. It was hard enough seeing her in a wedding dress all day!

Love the one you posted here and the one with the polka dots in the foreground really stood out to me. I think most of the images look like snap shots and there were too many to look through to find favorites. Really like the grubby areas in the beginning with peeling paint... would've liked more of those using the surroundings for interest. I haven't trashed a dress yet, so take my 2 cents with a grain of salt
