Full Version: Change Capture date?

Is there a way to change the capture date/time on a file, or, rather, a whole set of files? When I synced my cameras, they were exactly one minute apart (aargh!). I don't even mind changing them one at a time, if I need to.

I use a Mac, have PS CS2, iView MediaPro, and Nikon Capture at my disposal. Any thoughts on how I could change these files?

Never mind. I found it in iView MediaPro. But the question's still open to anyone who knows of a batch process that'll set the EXIF time back one minute. Or forward one minute, either way. ;-)

Mike (Colon) was telling me about this functionality a week or so ago ... that you can do exactly what you're describing in iView as well. Maybe I misunderstood him but I think it might be doable. If it is possible, it sure would be a great workaround in case you forget to time sync your cameras with your assistant.

It would be great if I could figure out how to batch it. I ended up doing it one-at-a-time. Twice. ;-) I went the wrong direction the first time. It's really confusing that way -- we even tried to figure it out and it took both of us about 15 minutes to figure out why it was that way. So if that ever happens, really think about it and test it out before you're done. Or learn the hard way like I did. Only took about 4 hours.

I looked through the iView manual, the online help (of course it was a weekend so I couldn't call -- and they're in England so it'd be long-distance), and I couldn't find any way to batch it.
