Is anyone else having this problem? When I run through a series of photos and use the keyboard shortcuts to flag my picks and rejects, lightroom crashes. This happens sometimes after one flag, sometimes after several.
This didn't happen with 1.0
What's the solution, besides going back to 1.0?

Matt (and others), I think I just might have figured out the solution. Last night, I disabled the SanDisk TransferMate Monitor (in the system tray) waited for it to turn itself off, then restarted LR 1.1...
Flagging... No crashes.
Then I went back and turned the TransferMate Monitor back on (and restarted LR) and sure enough, crashes during my flagging.
Notes:
-- I noticed that LR and TransferMate seem to fight for who's going to monitor for incoming files, so I thought, maybe some kind of internal conflicts elsewhere??
-- I also know that I got the life-saving tip to use this card reader from Matt Antonio himself (thanks, Matt!). And I know he was having some frustrations with LR, too.
Let me know if this works for you guys.

Yeah, that's helpful.
Anyway, still no crashes today when TransferMate is shut off.
Working nicely.

I have no issues when flagging, but I've had it crash my computer while exporting. Anyone else?
On the positive side, I'm no longer getting the "X pictures didn't import" message:)

I am having the same issues with LR 1.1. Crashes constantly but I do not have the SanDisk TransferMate Monitor on my computer. Anyone else having these issues. Shortcuts make it crashes and it runs supper slow. Did not have these issues with 1.0.

Do you have anything monitoring when a card is put into the reader at all? ACDSee, card reader software, etc? Anything?

Matt,
I do have acdsee pro installed but the detector is not showing up in the tray when I start up, the adobe photo downloader is present. Its very strange and frustrating. I have posted on a few other forums but nothing.
Thanks!!!

Allright, so I just took the time to play. I shut down the Adobe photo downloader, any other unessessary programs running and locked out the internet. I imported a couple hundred photos, "x&p" selected them really fast (hoping to choke it) and it all went just fine.
This is the first time since I got lightroom that I've really been able to use it. I know understand all the hype.

I'd start out by doing the following:
Introduce the normally running programs into the mix, one at a time. Each time you do this, shut down lightroom, then start it up again. Test, and repeat until you get the crashes. This will tell you what the offending program is.
