Hi All.
(DJ - Wasn't sure where to post this, so please forgive me if this is the wrong place.)
As most of you know, I'm just getting started and have booked one wedding for next year.
Since I am in SoCal, I've decided to go around and take shots of potential locations in the area and post them on my site so clients (and other photographers) can check them out.
My first trip was to downtown Los Angeles because I've been wanting to take a look at the new Disney Music Hall, which is also two blocks from the Los Angeles Cathedral.
The Ahmanson Theatre has a nice dancing fountain with an angel sculpture in the middle and a bronze door scuplture behind the fountain.
Both are beautiful locations. The Disney Music hall charges $10 for admission, but it is worth it. The wooden interior is a stark contrast to the fabricated metal exterior. There is also a wonderful garden and fountain on the thrid floor.
The LA Cathedral looks like an updated mission with terracota walls and stylized angels for accent lighting. The security guard mentioned that you need permission to shoot interiors, but the space is also gorgeous.
Below are some previews and a link to all the shots. I'll post additional locations as I shoot them.
