Rebel Fish gasped outloud when she stumbled on this one.

Go to library mode.
View thumbnails OR zoomed into a single image.
Hold command down (the apple key)
You can then just put your fingers on the arrow keys and….

Left / Right arrow go forward back (no big surprise there)
Up arrow will raise your flag status (e.g., if no flag, it is now a pick)
Down arrow will lower your flag status (e.g., if no flag, it is now rejected)

So. You simply cruise through your library thinking UP for “I like it!” and DOWN for “You suck!”

best part of this is if you hold shift & select a bunch in library you can then push up or down and rate a bunch at once! if you're using the 'show unselected' and pick/rejecting this is SUPER fast!!!

i live by that at receptions... if you can keep track, it is possible to do this in develop mode too

I do the same thing, but I just keep one finger on the arrows, and one finger on the #5. If I like it, I hit 5 for 5 stars. If I don't I just hit the arrow. You can hit any number 1-5 to give it a ranking.

I hope you don't break the down arrow for the disk I sent you!

Not a chance! my up arrow is in a little danger though.
