Hi everyone. My name is Ryan, and I am a... photographer. I've been shooting primarily weddings on the side for the past 7 or 8 years, but have never really gone full-bore into it. That is probably the main reason that I'm still in the place that I am, desperately trying to catch up to the rest of the photographic world.

I've been shooting digital for about 2 years now. (Whenever Canon brought out the 10D). But my main drawback is I really suck on the back-end side. (i.e. photoshop).

My buddy Kurt showed me this site, and I think that it's really cool that people share their insights into the way they shoot, instead of being so competitive as I've seen in the past.

Welcome, Ryan. I think you'll have fun here. Most of us do. But we don't ALL "rock". Some folks' rockiness is much rockier than others. I'm more of a pebble -- almost sand, really. ;-)

Yeah, but what Ryan didn't tell you is that he is the one who got me started in wedding photography. When people began asking me to shoot at their weddings, Ryan took me under his wing and began to teach me the technical side of photography. He took me along to assist on several of his weddings before I went out on my own.

So, Ryan is definitely a Lovecat. He's a cool guy and I owe a lot to him. So pointing him to my friends here at OSP was a no-brainer. You guys ROCK!!!!
