Well, my last two posts for critique haven't gone quite as well as I'd hoped, but I'm hoping I absorbed some of it and improved with this session. I think I did a fairly good job of getting them to relax and be themselves (and have fun). But, I'd appreciate some critique from those of you who are more experienced. What can I do to improve next time around?

There's more on the blog if you're interested!

I don't think that I'm more experienced, but...

You got lots of great emotion there! I think they're great. I particularly like the last one.

Thanks! Yes, it was my first one! The main thing I took from the all of the CC on my TTD session was that they didn't show much personality, so I made that a priority for this session.

Lisa - I am really enjoying watching your progress....and your attitude is fantastic! Keep posting all your sessions, girl! smile.gif

I think these definitely have personality. I would encourage you to just be a little quicker - trying to get around to the right angle quickly to shoot them kissing. Or reminding them that you want to see their faces so that they turn correctly towards your camera so you can capture those moments. Also, the groom is not a big guy at all, but for some reason, these are showing a double-chin. A lot of times shooting from a different angle (maybe slightly SLIGHTLY above him) may help minimize that.

Just keep working at it - I can definitely see an improvement from the TTD and I am so very impressed by your eagerness to learn - never lose that and you will go SO far! smile.gif

Hugs,
Stacy
