Full Version: Lightroom Presets Question

Ok, this may be SO lame, but... here goes:

In Lightroom, when you make a crop, and then apply a preset (specifically, one with vignetting), the effect is applied to the entire photo. Because of this, the vignetting only shows up on the edges that weren't cropped out. So, lopsided vignetting, in essence. Any one know any way around this? Am I missing something completely obvious? It seems a shame to have to take the pic into PS just to do the simple vignetting that can be done with one click.

Thanks!

Kim...glad you asked! I wanna know the answer too. In fact, I've had this conversation with a few others who are also frustrated.

yeah this appears to be the case, I've been going into PS and doing the vignette in there. I doubt there's a lightroom workaround.

Guess that just means I should be cropping better in-camera! Darn, I was afraid that there wasn't a lightroom workaround.
