I have never designed a wedding album before. Are there any companies out there that are user friendly for first timers? If so, who? Thanks

Your first question should be how much do you have to spend for an album in order to meet your profit margins?

If you want high end album go with Leather Craftsmen. Their 3500 series is common among the high end shooters out there.

I use zookbooks. I love that they're a small business and they're very helpful. I've only bought two albums from them though. A 60 page flushmount (which i just uploaded) and a 40 page 10x10 self mount.

I've only done 1 album (guest book) and it was Vision Art Book. They are super nice and patient (never done an FTP before; they walked me through it step by step). Turn around is exactly when they tell you it is (well, on my one experience, at least) and shipping is safe and quick. Love the feel of these books (it's a thick paper/cardstock, not photo paper).

I used Lumapix Fotofusion to design my pages as .jpg (not PDF), named them by spreads (LuckyRedHen_WoodGuestbook_01, LuckyRedHen_WoodGuestbook_02, LuckyRedHen_WoodGuestbook_03, etc.) then downloaded the pages via Core FTP overnight. Now that I think about it I don't remember how I did the actual order form part but I guess it wasn't bad because I WOULD HAVE remembered if it were LOL.

In my experience, Kiss was the most user friendly!

I create my entire 2 page spread in photoshop, save as a jpg and drag and drop it to their website!

Better yet, create the whole book in InDesign, save as PDF and drop it to their website, the way books are SUPPOSED to be done. Yay KISS! Smack!!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention these. If you like the look of a leather cover, Swan and Shawn Austin totally have some hot books with KISS!
