Whenever I find something to make my life simpler, I want to spread the joy! Maintaining customer relationships is obviously the biggest part of what we all do. There are many solutions out there and will continue to be. I have been looking for an "all in one" solution (ShootQ definitely interests me), but have yet to find a good fit.

I have been a fan of 37signals.com products for a few years. Recently they released Highrise, a CRM solution. All I can say is Amen! They have a free solution as well as paid solutions. Currently, I am on the free solution, but will no doubt move up.

If you are looking for an easy, intuitive way to maintain relationships, this software is killer. It has made managing our relationships fun!

Ok, enough. Check it out! Highrise

HEY! I just signed up with Highrise this week and it ROCKS! I'm love love loving it!

It's a paperless way to assign tasks, make lists and keep contracts in neat, tidy client files online, accessable to anyone you want (or just yourself). You can also keep everyone's contact info, payment timelines and emails all there in the files. Like I said - I'm LOVING it!

You might also want to check out Gigbooks. I just spoke with Justin the owner, and I'm very impressed. Seems a lot like ShootQ, but a little bit different as well. Definitely worth checking out.

thanks for the tip
is it jott-able? that would be cool.

the best thing I've run across is jott and google calender...it is freakin amazing! call jott, say "calender", then say what you want to add, i.e. mrs jones, april 23rd at 3:00 phone 898-123-1234 ......it goes right into google calender. So you don't use google calender?( I don't, not as my scheduler anyway), here's the coolest thing, set up a spanning sync account ( cheap, but not free ) and everything you put in google calender syncs into iCal......which I live by. So now if I'm driving and make an appointment, I call jott, and the appointment ends up in iCal and into my iPhone. No more lost slips of paper, or my own scribbles that even I can't read :-) and even better, now my entire schedule is backed up in google-land, so if i lose everything I can use any computer and find my schedule/contacts in seconds.
Hope this benefits someone!

I also use Jott as my "to do reminder" list. Whenever something pops into my head that I want to remember, an idea, a song , a client that needs to be called, whatever, I call Jott, say myself, and that note/message is e-mailed and texted to me. then in the apple mail client I have a smart mailbox that collects all my jotts. I open that mailbox every morning when cking regular e-mail and and there is my "to do" list for the day!

Hey Burke -

Missed you guys in Vegas this year (I had some SXSW stuff to finish up that week)

I've seen Highrise, and am waiting for the OSX integration with Greatascent.

Ditto about Gigbooks and Justin, really nice guy... I really love how you can try it out too before you have to commit wink.gif
