Hey there...

Ok, Obviously when you all get your images back from your lab, you don't present them to your client in the envelopes your lab sends them in.... so what do you all use for packaging up your pix? I have seen some packaged with see through bags and the photographers logo on them etc.. I've seen people package their prints in large stiff envelopes..... What do you use? Custom bags/boxes? Where do you get your supplies from????

Just curious. I use WHCC but obviously do not want my clients to know where I get my prints from. Just need some suggestions here...want to present my photos in a professional classy way.

Thanks!
Jeanette

I'm thinking about trying out some boxes from here. They're pretty affordable and many of the types of boxes you can order can have your logo printed on them. smile.gif

Most of my print orders are shipped to the clients directly by Pictage. But for albums and other things that I deliver to the client myself, I am using these fun canvas bags

We use TAP Chestnut folders from Albums Inc. to deliver prints up to an 11x14. For 16x20 we use a black box. Framed items are just wrapped in brown craft paper that we also use as the backing when we frame. For albums or if they are picking up other stuff we put them in a black canvasy bag with rope handles that has our logo on it.

For orders directly from my clients I use the pochette folders seen here- in coco. 9x12 for big prints, 5x7 for small prints. I also buy their circle stickers in blue and slap them on the folders to keep the flaps closed. Ribbon also looks nice, but it was too much work for me smile.gif

Everything else, such as guest from weddings, unless its a big order with big prints that need to be mounted, is done through WHCC Print Fulfillment wink.gif

Sure! Cafepress.com - they discount for orders of 15 and they are about $8 each with the bulk discount. I figure if someone is dropping a few grand on an album, why not? Plus, everyone is loving these! I'm also using them to bring a baby gift (thanks Amber for the gift idea!) to newborn sessions.

I had my graphic designer do the design - I just told her I wanted her to design a bag that she would think it was cool to use to carry groceries or kids stuff or whatever and this is what she came up with. They've been a big hit so far!

I think I'm also going to send them as thank you gifts to clients who give me referrals.
