Hi all,

I'm trying to learn the SB-800 master/slave setup and earlier when I turned the flashes on there was a list off---master--remote (something)---remote ----

I tried to get the set up right and couldn't so I reset the flashes using the mode and on/off buttons (push for about 2 secs and it resets), but now the master option is nowhere to be found. Just off---remote---su-4.

Anyone else have this problem? How do you get the master option back?

I can't have two slaves with no master...... w00t.gif

Many thanks

First of all.... Follow the instructions on the manual.

The Sb-800 has to be mounted and the camera has to be on to see the master. If the flash is not on a camera thatr is on, you will only have the remote option.

Thanks for the response. smile.gif I have no manual right now, but I can lay my hands on one later. I looked it up online, but ran out of time before I had to leave last night. I discovered this on my own last night as I was playing with it. Still haven't managed to make it work again, but I'll keep trying!

Ginger
got it, thanks to Mark Smith....thanks buddy.
