This is not really my fault since the client had the date of may 7th 2004 on their contract and it was a 2005 wedding.....

I wrote on the order form May 7th 2004.... on the front cover engraving is
May 7th 2004

Is there any way that zookbinders can remove the zookbook flush pages and put on a new cover, so I don't eat the $600 to do this album again?????

Anyone out there know? Of course its past 430pm CST and they are closed ofr the weekend! ARGH!!!!!!

Don't worry too much about it. It can be fixed. And it won't cost the whole enchilada. I believe it'll just be the cover charge plus the stamping charge (I don't want to post the costs, but I'm sure you know what they are -- you know, I'm paranoid of Google). ;-)

We had one album that had so many repairs, we almost got sick over it. Hopefully we'll never have an album like that again. And yes, the problems on the Zookbinders end were all our fault. The problems on the lab's end, well, let's just say we don't want to do things that way again. Partly us, partly them, partly LabPrints.

They do a good job on repairs, and you won't notice the repair on the cover at all. It will, however, take another 3 weeks or so. :-(

Thanks! Thats what I figured... and I also thought well I can so a studio sample of the ruined album and beg for a studio sample cost on the repeat album..... I had an album just in there for repairs a image was printed with a hand missing!!! Of course I didn't see it, but it was weird, the hand was online with pictage but not printed! It took 4 days and it was replaced! Talk about fast!!!!!

Thanks for the quick reply.... I am now going to spend my evening not worrying about this!!!!!

They must like you better than me. ;-) But, like I wrote, this album took about two months more than it should have. And that's with paying rush charges. I feel sick just thinking about it. I can safely say it was the most expensive album we've ever made. It just didn't look like it. ;-)

wow! You know I have never had any major problems with zookbinders, I have read from others that they have had a lot of problems lately with them big time!

My albums have always all arrived here safe and sound! I had one that aparently some of the full flush images I mailed to them were dog eared..... they paid the reprint fees from pictage and pictage arrranged to send the images directly to zookbinders. For all i know they were damaged in shipping which I could of been held responsible for!

They are by far the best company I have ever worked with.... better than my local lab, better than my local film/ album place, better than pictage..... I wish everyone else was as good as they are!

No, no, no! NONE of the problems were due to Zookbinders. They were all between us, our lab, and LabPrints. Zookbinders delivered flawlessly, and even didn't charge us for the entire repair. I'm really sorry if I didn't make that clear.

That was me! I had a major problem with zookbinders, which I think was really unsual but wasn't happy the way they handled it!
They screwed up some of my prints 'in production' on two albums IN A ROW. I told them I was disapointed in that and the guy goes 'well there's nothing we can do about it'. uh. hello. how about not screwing up the prints in the first place .
They gave me a whole $14.00 credit for both screw ups. Gezz thanks, that might cover shipping on all the extra prints. I even paid 30% rush on one of the albums.
I usually have flawless interactions with zookbinders but when they did screw up *TWICE* I was a little dissapointed.

I'm sure they can change the cover.
