I've saved my jpegs from my raws, edited them, sorted them and renumbered them. Right now I'm uploading them to pictage and went to pull a few to blog. Even though I opened a few in photoshop to edit, I can't get them to open now. I see them in Bridge, I drag them over to photoshop and it pops up a screen as if I'm creating a new file with sizes and whatnot. I tried to go through the folder and view them through my computer and it says "preview not available".

I'm starting to freak out! Please tell me it's because they're in a pictage upload and not because something horrible has happened and I've lost my 2 days of work???

Help

Sometimes when I use batch rename, I forget the proper tag... like .jpg, sometimes it ends up adding double tags like filename.cr2.jpg check the naming first and see if it is keeping your computer from reading the file. If you do rename, make sure you check the box to save your metadata and previous filename.

Just to ease my mind, I canceled the pictage upload and that WAS what it was! Holy crap, I think I just lost 10 years of my life!! Pictage gave me wrinkles! lol

Thanks Stuart for your awesome help and cat-like quickness!

As you can tell, I have done this before... a few times. Don't feel bad. You don't really lose years until you actually lose files. I think you only aged a few days.
