Due to limitations in Photoshop CS showit is only available for Photoshop CS2.

well i was waiting for the reason to upgrade, and this is it. Is there any more on the program, such as a demo that we can see?

I know David Jay is working on getting a demo of showit together. Stay tuned...
Linda
Just wondering if once you create a show with this program can it be burned to dvd or cd for the couple?

Thanks
L.

Hey Linda! smile.gif

We're planning to offer that part of Showit very very soon! Eventually we hope it to be a complete collection of programs that all reduce the time and money it would typically take to advertise this way while also increasing the speed, effectivnes, and consistency of your marketing and post processing.

Currently Showit functions as a custom effects and workflow solution for doing onsite slideshows while taking advantage of other programs that actually present the pictures. The reason why it was necessary for Showit "effects" to come out first is because getting the effects on pictures right away and presenting them at the wedding/event is the first and most important thing you can do to promote your business.

Alright - I gotta hop on a train and I'm hoping to have internet in RI but if not I'll be back in touch soon! smile.gif

Heh heh, I'm in the same situation. But I'll be ordering CS2 later today just so I can use ShowIt. I wonder if my old serial number starting with PS250, still works? Yep, my first version of PS I had was 2.5! And you'd think I'd be better at it than I am. ;-) I just realized that it was July of '94 when I got it, and in school I think I used 2.0. I feel old.

I'm not sure how well it'll run on my G4/400. Next on the list is more RAM, I need to speed up some things (like BullZEye) and, of course, Photoshop.

Ouch....you may find some pretty serious performance problems with a G4/400! I don't run CS2 because I think it runs too slow on my machine and I have a G4/1.5Gz with a gig of RAM.

Make sure to max out the amount of RAM your computer can take. That will definetly help your machine go a bit faster....

Hey Chris, I thought I'd update you with this. I ended up not being able to upgrade the RAM, so I'm still running 640MB on a G4/400, and it's not bad. No worse than PS7. Maybe a little bit, but I'm used to waiting for things. I'm trying to hold out until the Intel machines come out. My brother-in-law works there! (Intel, not Apple).

oh... smile.gif... are you expecting those machines to come out within the next year.

We just ordered a dual 2.7 for Mr. Tim to crank on! I'm excited and I know he is too

Well, in a year or two. I like this machine to last a bit longer. Extra RAM should make it a bit faster. But instead I bought ShowIt! laughing.gif
