I am new in the photography industry and Joel mentioned this would be great for me. I love a lot of the things I have seen so far. I basically only use a Nikon D100 with 50mm f1.4 lense.

Welcome to the forumhood. DJhood? Something like that. I love using that combo (D100 + 50/1.4) -- one of my favorites, though it's usually on the D70 instead. Great natural light images.
You'll soon see that Canonites are the majority, here. At least they make the most noise. ;-) If you have any questions about your D100, feel free to ask.
