If anyone can direct me towards a website that just has different examples of poses for portraits, it would mean a great deal to me. thanks in advance!

I usually go through mags. I bought a book dedicated to posing. It has some decent examples, but it also has tips and things to look for in the frame. I found it fairly helpful.

Saw your post & remembered this thread from way back: http://www.opensourcephoto.net/forum/index...?showtopic=8090 If you can't be bothered to look at the thread, here's the direct link to the "internet's best site for dorky poses" http://www.vci.net/~mmorgan/pg2.pdf!! Actually, they're not all bad especially if you adapt them a little with use of cropping, composition, location, lighting, etc. Hope it's of help to you smile.gif
