Also this is a very cool webcam widget.

Anyone else out there know of any decent widgets? I know Dane claims to have some pretty cool ones?

Nice! Widgets rock...I haven't explored much but I use the dictionary a lot b/c my spelling sukcs. laughing.gif

LOL!

That's awesome! That's actually the one I use the most too, for the same reason! smile.gif

The package tracker one is kinda cool too!

Tim,

The count down one is pretty cool. It's a neat idea. You put in an important date that you have and it automatically counts down the days till that event. Kinda simple, but neat!

If you use Transit, check out their FTP widget!

I just used Dane's advice and downloaded the Transmit widget and it's SWEET!!!

I basically sets a shortcut to my forumpics folder so now if I want to upload a picture through my own site instead of through the forum all I have to do is drag it on there and it goes! No more logging in and then cliccking to that directory! It's just a one stop drop! I love it! Thanks Dane!

Is transit any better than Fetch? That's is what I use to FTP all my stuff.

This is all totally Greek to me.

(It sounds like this.... Whhawhaamwhammwhamwha... You know, like the adults on Charlie Brown?!?!?!)

Transmit and Fetch are both good. FTP is pretty standard so I wouldn't bother buying another program.

LOL... Yea...FTP stuff is pretty weird sounding and combined with all of our Mac talk I'm sure it isn't making much sense to the PCers smile.gif You're not missing out on anything. You can actually create these same sort of shortcuts even easier on PC's without needing a special FTP client! smile.gif
