Does the new version of Bridge not support the Brilliant or any presets without first going to Camera Raw first? This is really annoying that I have to open files before applying a preset!!! Please help me out if you know different.
Thanks,
Ron

Hey Ron,
Are you on Mac or PC? I could not get the presets to show up in the right click menu on my PC, but they work great on my Mac. In Bridge CS3 they are located under Develop Presets" in the richt-click menu, which is a bit different the Bridge CS2 where they were directly in the right-click menu.

Hi. Thanks for the info. I am on Mac and I don't even have "Develop Presets" showing up??? Really strange. Maybe I have some setting turned on or off that I don't see the option or something.... I don't know. DJ, any help here???
Thanks a ton,
Ron

I don't have the Develop Presets either and it's driving me nuts. I have to open all images in ACR, click on the presets tab, and apply presets 1 by 1. Is there an option that needs to be turned on for the develop tab to show up? Oh, and I am on a Mac too.

I thought I was going mad with this!! I am relieved that this topic got brought up, and I am hoping there is an easy solution....instead of going back to CS2!

I have also experienced this, but in a different way. I was able to "develop" a group of my images but I get to a certain point and then for some reason that develop option is no longer there. Still there on the ones I was successful with but not on others. Totally random.
-I have not had time to really look into this yet either.....

I've come across this same issue as well. Looking around the Adobe forums, I found a fairly simple fix. I shouldnt call it a fix, but rather a work around.
1. Close Bridge. And Photoshop if you have that open.
2. Open Photoshop
3. Click on the icon to open Bridge from within Photoshop.

4. When you right click on a RAW file, you should have the "Open in Camera Raw" option available. If not, it didnt work. Close it and try again. Possibly even reboot.

From what I read, the issue is caused by Bridge not recognizing the presence of Photoshop. I'm not sure if that's the case or not, but hopefully it will be adressed by Adobe.

Sorry to report that this is still not working. I've tried just about everything. Is anyone using Mac OSX having success?
Thanks,
Ron

This is not working on OSX. Isn't there anyone that is using PS3 on the Mac that has the presets working on Bridge? Here is a screenshot of what the pop up menu looks like on my Mac.

On a Mac? I tried that on my MBP and it still doesn't show up. The Develop menu is not even under the Edit menu, where it's supposed to be.

Are you on a Mac? I was going through my applications folder the other and I noticed that I had some Canon software and I don't even have a Canon camera. So I don't know if that was bundled with something else or it came with the computer, but I am certain I didn't install it.

Its so nice to hear that I'm not the only one having this problem! I have read on Adobe forums that they are aware of this, but so far, I don't think there's a fix. If there IS , I haven't heard of it. If you do... please let us know!

I have received at least a couple of update notices when I open Photoshop or InDesign and I notice there is an update for Bridge and I install it hoping that this will be fixed, but up to the last update that I ran which was about 2 nights ago, there is no fix yet. Bummer

Ok, it has been 6 weeks since I last inquired about this. Is there anyone out there, using CS3, on a Mac, that has got this working? I know CS3 on Windows works fine, but not the OSX version. Has anyone gotten this working yet?
