I am pretty sure that I am going to order a couple of WHCC gallery wraps (sale ends tomorrow). As I have never ordered anything from them before, I cam curious about...
1. The quality of the work. I would expect it to be their usual standards, but looking for any 1st hand opinions.
2. Do I need to get the coating added to it or do they come good enough?
Thanks!

Chad, I have one canvas from there and I think it's great. I would get a coating on it to keep it protected. I just ordered another one for their sale for a client of mine. Wish I had the extra dough to buy a few more for my up and coming new studio but I need to save my money to finish that room!
You won't be dissapointed with their gallery wraps.

IMO, you definitely want the coating. I got my first set without it and I've found that the top layer will rub off VERY easily without it.

chad try there standouts. I am so in love with them. i think i might stop getting frames for my studio and just do the stanouts. i really want to promoto them too. Just somehting to think about.
i love love love the printing i get a whcc. i think the customer service is great. well if they can deal with me and explain things over the phone they are great. They do get a bit anal about things like. the other day tan had an apt at the u. i was uploading all my pictures and had to leave. i did the order form but in ftp they werent complete. they gave me a call. yikes! it was almost done. so anyway they want you to upload first and then the order form. i have been going with them for two years and this was the first time i did this. so i guess i wont again. dont get your order forms wrong either =)

Chad! Use
SimplyCanvas - they're much better (IMO) and cheaper since it comes with coating already. Plus, they use epson inks!
And they're turnaround time is fast too!
Remember, I used to do all my own canvas work, and SC meets my very picky requirements.
And, you know how picky I am...

Tell me more about the standouts - WHCC doesn't have a picture of how they work. Can YOU show me what it is like?

Thanks Johnny! I just signed up with them and listed you as the referral source. Hopefully they'll throw an extra lollipop in your next order... ;-)

It's a WHCC joke... some people get treats in their orders and some don't.... it's a great idea though. I used to be an auto mechanic and I still have an account with a parts wholesaler that always includes some cookies or candy in my order (and everyone elses I would imagine...) :-)

o.k. i will try and explain it. pretend you have a board and the picture is set on top of it. the board is 3/4 quarter high and then the picture lays on the top of it. i love doing a black and white in metallic. it looks so great. i am totally going to try and sell these rather than canvas. Try one with your daughter to see if you like it. i way prefer 20x20 or 16x20. the smaller ones to me are small. From a distance on the wall it looks like the picture wraps around kinda like a canvas does.
let me know what you think of my explanation =)

We just got two WHCC gallery wraps and I was super impressed. We just delivered them to a client and hung them on their wall! I wish I had took a photo to share!!!! They ordered two 20x30's and about 75+ other photos. It was one of our biggest online sales ever!

Dude, try out Pixel2Canvas... owned and operated by a fellow OSPer and her canvases rock the house compared to WHCC or SimplyCanvas... and they don't charge extra for UV coating.
I ordered a few WHCC canvases and I was really not impressed at all... I will never order a canvas from anywhere but Pixel2Canvas now... their work is downright amazing.
