Help!!!

What if a client doesn't purchase an Album, but an offer was made to have fund put forward toward an Album in the contract.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not really clear on your question. Are you including an album credit in the package, or allowing them to include additional funds towards an album purchase?

I suppose it depends on what your contract states. For me, I include an album credit which is applied strictly to an album purchase. If there is no purchase, they have no option to use the credit for anything else, or receive any refund.

Bruce, thanks for taking the time to try and figure out my question and answer it.

Let try this again:
I offer to put $250.00 credit towards the design of an custom design album in my package, but the clients didn't purchase an album.

Do I owe them a refund?

Thanks in advance for your help

I suppose it depends on what's in your contract. If it's not already in your cotract, you need to add a clause right away that states that album credits can ONLY be used toward the purchases of albums, and are NOT refundable as cash or applicable toward any other service or product, including the base shooting fee.

Are they asking for a refund? Or are you just concerned about it because they didn't opt for an album?
