I hate to play the Girl Card but some of these tripods that I have tested out kill me, they are cumbersome, heavy and the legs are hard to turn. I have looked at the Gitzo Carbon tribpods becuase they are super light but I really can not spend that much money on a tripod!!
Can anyone recommend a lightwetight tripod that will hold between 7-13 lbs that either has the clamps to extend the legs or simple half turn ones that will not cost me an arm and a leg.
Thanks!!!

Cool recommendation. I don't know how heavy is too heavy but have you checked out the TiltAll? I have one and love it. I purchased mine through
Calumet Photography. Here's a link from Adorama as it has a few reviews.
