Can we PLEASE ditch the "star rating" for threads? It's a super annoying thing to me - it says so little about the content and so much about what people think of the post author most of the time. Becker just started a post GIVING AWAY a shootsac and someone instantly rated it a 1 star "this post sucks." I'm SO sick of the rating system for posts. Can I just eliminate it? Would anyone care?

I voted to keep them, just because I like to be the dissenting opinion. But I'm for getting rid of rating.

yup, do away with them...I never pay attention to them anyways.

While we're at it, I could go without seeing those icons that go in the second column from the left. I don't get their purpose

i always thought that this was the meaning of the star system:

0 Stars: A normal post.
1 Star: moderately more interesting than a normal post
2 Stars: somewhat more interesting than a normal post
3 stars: Much more interesting than a normal post
4 stars: freaking interesting!
5 stars: dude, you gotta check this out, it's gonna blow your mind and you're gonna pee on yourself its so awesome.
