Hey Everyone,
This is my first album design. Be gentle

I would love your feedback. Thanks!!
I used InDesign. I have to say it's easy and fast! I've used indesign in the past for laying out text and publications but never for albums. I'm glad Kevin Swan produced that tutorial. It helped a lot! He rocks.

Hi Manus,
I checked out your design and I think it's nice, I'm also a beginner with albums. By the way, where can I find Kevin's tutorial?

Great album. I'm sure they'll love it.

The only thing I noticed is that the last 5 spreads are quite plain as compared to the variety in the first half of the album. I'l like to see it finish a little stronger, possibly by showcasing a killer image on the last spread.
I'm also not fond of the black/white background combination on 4 and 11. IMO, that contrast made it hard to focus on the images. It might look better in print, though.

I really like it, too! Very clean and simple layout - tells the story well.
I think the only thing I'd change is the spreads where you have one page with black background and one with white. But that's just my personal preference - I'd rather have both pages in a spread with the same color background. Just me, though. It wasn't enough to make me not enjoy the album - you did a great job!
