What software or design house are you all using to do your albums? I'm looking for some more options than the program I am sad to admit I am using--iPhoto.

I'm not quite shooting enough weddings per year to jump into Pictage. I am thinking about jumping into aperture for the album templates. just not sure if there are any options for varous sizes.

I know there's a lot of expertise on this forum, so let it fly!

We design our own. We generally use a combination of Labprints and Photoshop.

We get the prints from WHCC or Millers and we get our albums from Zookbinders.

We do coffee table books from Asuka Book.

i use aperture for proof books, the small 'thank-you' size books, and for the lower end coffee table books. i use la-vie and booked for the higher end albums.

I own PhotoJunction, but I design my albums in Photoshop. I'm eyeing You Select It and I'll probably buy it one day. Maybe. wink.gif I've downloaded trial versions of pretty much every design software out there and YSI seems best for me.

I design my own with Page Gallery (love it), get prints made at WHCC and usually use Leather Craftsmen for binding.

Thank you all for the replies.

I am looking for something simple. software/website that has templates where I can drag and drop photographs. I can easily drop photos in background to watermark, change colors, etc.

then simply send off to them for production?

Check Page Gallery... excdellent...my choice. But check also YSI... excellent too. Photojunction was my third choice, although it has a very limited set of templates, it is a very good program, specially how it integrates with labs and binders. Pictage has an online album designer but you will be limited to their albums, which are very nice by the way, about the same quality of The Book and PictoBooks.

Check out Candid 2000's new Tuscany album. They have a very easy-to-use web-based software for album designing.
