Before you ask, I've synched both cameras,... I've uploaded my images to ACDSee, and even the date/time stamps for images out of the two different cameras are correct. But, everytime I go to sort by date created, or date modified, etc.. it still mixes everything up. and basically has one camera's set of images before the other camera's set. I just don't understand.

I uploaded2 different CF cards, one right after the other. The only prompt I got was that the original filenames being uploaded were duplicated, and did it want me to rename the second set of images being upload.. which I said yes to. But based on date & time created especially, they are all showing up correctly, base on when you view the properties.

Anyone have any ideas at this late hour? smile.gif

use exif/image/date time original

oh and wait til ACDSee is 100% loaded then press F5 - that reloads them in the order you've chosen. You can't really do it until the thumbs are 100% loaded.

Thanks Matt -
I just tried that and it loaded all of the 1st camera's images in order, and THEn, all of the 2nd cam's images in order. I just don't get it.
I know the cameras are synched. They are both nikon... I've always synched with each other, never had to sync them with the computer - should I try that for today (the wedding)?

thx again
MattA
check the sync times specifically. I mean - make sure it's not a digit off that isn't hour like MONTH - I've done that before. If they are truly synched then ACDSee's date/time original *should* be the only thing you need once they all load. If it's still sorting by make it says to me that one says 4/7/07 and one says 7/7/07 but since they both say 12:10pm you see them as synched? I dunno. Check the times of the first shots on date/time original on both cams.

i think that's what it was... the date format probably. i just resynched, so at least maybe the wedding will be in order now.
thanks for your help.

cool! hope it worked out to get you in order. smile.gif I had my camera synched at the right time but THREE MONTHS OFF for like 2 weeks. ECH!

at least I figured out acdsee's re-image stamp and time-adjustments then! haha now I don't need to sync - I can do it after the shoot in like 5 mins.
