I'm sure some of you have heard about the Dragan effect. I've been messin with it for a couple of weeks. Here's my first successful image. What do you think? Sorry Johnny, I couldn't get one of your textures into it

Care to share your experience to date with this type of process? Things that worked? Things that didn't? I have tried it a couple of times but can't seem to get an image to where I want it to go...

i am really liking this! Beautiful eyes and eyelashes. I have tried this with some portraits in the past and it hasn't quite worked out for me - it can make skin look dirty. I suppose you need a certain type of image, or maybe a certain skin type...or maybe the kids in my images were actually dirty

Part of the Dragan 'look' has a grittyness or dirtyness to it.

I tried this action and it did not work well for me - but Kris is getting really good with it.

Sorry, not my thing, and his images are totally not appealing to me. But to each his own.

I love moody photos of kids. Remember how interesting your own childhood was? There's so much in there. Kris, I love the other moody shot you posted too.
