Hey Everyone,
I am designing a promotional piece for a bakery. On it will be my website, logo, and either my phone number or e-mail. I tried including everything, but it looked to cluttered, so something has to go. ohmy.gif

So what should I keep on it, my phone or e-mail????
Would love to hear what you all have to say smile.gif

for me personally I'd rather have e-mail... but then again, if I'm going to be getting on the computer, I could just look up your website... hmm.

I think e-mails are easier to manage and easier to respond to, and as a client I (this is just me) would rather send an e-mail which I could compose, making sure to address all the questions I had.

I'm not sure if you'd loose potential callers who wouldnt e-mail though...

I think it would be better to put your phone number rather than email as long as you have your web address included. There are alot of people who are'nt computer literate and for those who are they will easily find your email, phone number... through your webpage. Also if someone recieves your promo piece the phone number included will give them the ability to contact you immediately rather than waiting to get infront of a computer with working internet.

Hi Amy!
I agree with Sky.
If your web addy is going to be on there anyhow people will email you.

I love the ideas for marketing you come up with. I try to read your blog often.

Knock um dead Amy!

Best wishes,
L.

...after thinking about it some more I think I agree with the others. There's just too much of a possibility that you'll miss people that either cant get on a computer or don't know how.

Besides, the types of people that would rather e-mail (like me) could find that info on your website fairly easily...

Sky is definitely right. You need to have your phone number on there for the people that don't use the internet. Plus I believe that this business is all about the people, and you have a much better chance of getting the job from them if they see how you respond on the phone. It's much harder to be personal through email.

Give us a peek at what you're designing if you have a chance.

Thank you to all who gave me their wonderful opinions/advice. I have decided to keep my phone number on it along with my website.

The promo isn't finished, however this is what it looks like so far.....
