Full Version: Best way to spot clean the dress?

If anyone would like to share the best way to remove color from a selected area, I would love to hear it. The random methods I've tried are not working so well.
Thank you so much for any insight you care to share! (in case you can't readily tell b/c of the mass compression, the dirt is at the bottom of the dress.)

Convert it to B&W and VOILA, a masterpiece!

Patch tool?? Don't know if it will work at the hemline though! smile.gif

What if you converted a copy to b/w, layered it over the color copy, put a black mask over the b/w and used the brush tool (soft and lowered opacity) in the area of the dirt?

Clone Stamp - soft edge brush - mode:Lighten - opacity:17% - Flow 100%

touch up until stain removed
