I have been looking at some of the posts, and I know there are a few on this topic, but I wanted to start a new one...
I have a last minute request to make a photo guest book.
I have seen a few different ones that people have made...like Dane Sanders.. or seen Bellisima talk about hers from WHCC... BUT....I don't know how to make one.

Can someone help me out? I have used WHCC before, and I just called them, and I have to create the pages myself....ahhhh... is there one that has templates?

The wedding is this weekend, so I may be out of luck. I told the bride I would let her know today.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

I don't know what the turn around time is for WHCC. but you may be out of time already. If you do want to try it, just do a simple design with one picture on the left side and leave the right side blank. It is simple and serves the purpose. Just a thought.

I think I might be able to get it in time from them...but designing it in photoshop is what I don't know how to do. They have templates to download, and I did that...and they are just a BIG BLANK PAGE. I am lost.

you're using roes? you can just upload the images one at a time as they are the pages.
so if you have 20 pages. I would have the photos pages back-to-back, so the ink doesn't bleed to the photo pages.
does this make any sense?

I have never made a book using WHCC, so I don't know exactly what sort of template they have, but I am guessing it just marks where the bleed/cut off lines are. Just open the template, open a picture you want to use and select all apple+a, then copy apple+C and then paste apple+V onto the template. If you want to resize hit apple+t and you can resize it that way. You can hold the shift key while moving to keep it in proportion. Once you have it where you want it, flatten the image and voila you are done! By the way, you can use the arrow tool to move around the image once you have it the size you like. (before you flatten it)

I hope that helps! Just play around with it...put a couple pictures in there and leave room for people to sign. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you'd like!

If you use Apollo Imagizing you can use their online design templates to create your guestbook (look under Illuma products on their website). We just delivered one tonight, and the bride and groom LOVED their guestbook. the templates are REALLY super-easy to use and it is easy to order after you create your book. We've been using this company for 3 years and they have always been awesome for us.

You can also make your own designs in PS or whatever template program you like (for future reference) and just choose the "auto-fill" option with "full bleed" pages and it will automatically fill up your book.

You can even design your own lined pages in PS or whatever you use, but to put them in your book, you have to delete their signable pages and stick your own into the template. Not hard to do, but time consuming. That is the way I am making them now.

You have a choice of covers, too. They are really the best choice in my opinion, for affordable, easy, and ubercool guestbooks.
