David, you really are a genius, you've figured out what everyone else has missed: That spamming people is a GREAT way to make them want to buy your stuff. "Hey, if he's a spammer, he MUST be a good company to deal with." I'm sure that he'll really have my interest at heart.

David, please feel free to spam me again as much as you like. Send me all of the email you want. Just don't expect me to think that you're anything other than yet another spammer because of it.

By the way, the trick your mailer uses of using 127.0.0.1 as it's address in an attempt to conceal or prevent bounces doesn't really work.

DJ has created this FREE forum (the other major photo boards are NOT free, ILP, Pro4Um), worked hard at making it a great place for photographers to grow, network, and share info/knowledge, and part of the deal is that the board helps sell ShowIt products. There's no big secret there.


If you don't like it, request that you be removed from the mailing list.

I know that span is annoying, but DJ's emails are more like occasional newsletters targeted to photographers, and are giving news about targeted products (which by the way are very good)

On a side note, I got the email, upgraded my showit immediatelly, and appreciated the discount. All marketing email is not bad. If DJ sent out stuff daily or even weekly, that would be annoying. I really appreciated getting the email, and the discount. It saved me 30 bucks. It's pretty easy to unsubscribe if you don't want them.
