Hey, Gang. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm having problems getting the Brilliant presets to load in LR on my Mac.

I'vee gone to the folder containing the presets and copied and pasted them into:
username > Library > Application Support > Adobe > Lightroom > Develop Presets

This is where all my other presets are stored, but I can't get the Brilliant presets to show up even after restarting LR. I noticed the other presets I've created or the ones that come with LR end in ".lrtemplate" format where the Brilliant presets end in ".xmp".

Any suggestions how to resolve this issue?

I had the same problem. Followed the instructions for Mac, pasted presets in the folder, restart LR and Brilliant doesn't show up.

I just installed Jack Davis' WOW presets and it showed up fine. Is it Mac? Help...I want to be brilliant!!!

Thanks. Alfredo. I think my issue is that I bought the Brilliant Presets before the Lightroom version was part of the download (LR wasn't on the market yet), so I don't have the "xyz.lrtemplate" format. I went to the website, but it looks like the only way to get the new LR versions is to buy the presets again. Is that true or does anyone know if you can get the LR format as a free download if you previously purchased the presets?

Yup - Free ...just login and you'll have a new download with the LR ones in there.

Also, just received word from SwanMan who's a beta tester for Adobe and Lightroom has a new way of storing AND organizing presets coming out soon! Sweeeeet!

Hey DJ. were do I log in? I tried to find the new presets with the different file format..No luck. What do i do?

Hey Dj, maybe i can get some help direct from you! I have put in several emails and tickets to get my account straightened out, So that I can do as you instruct in this thread. BUT, my account is messed up and shows that my purchase was cancelled, BUT it wasnt. You and I resolved the error and I have ben using the presets for over a year!
