Amanda recently offered a free shoot for a little boy with a bum heart. She was paid more than you can imagine ......

"Oh my goodness....what a cutie pie! This little boy has the best smiles in the world. He was born with a heart defect and has already been through two open heart surgeries with more to come. You would never know what he's been through with a smile like his. What a great reminder to me that no matter how tough life can be, and it can be tough, a smile and a positive perspective can do wonders smile.gif Thank you Trenton for that wonderful reminder. You are so precious and will be in our prayers. "

Now I'm all misty eye'd... Thank you.

Like Jesus said - you have to have faith like a child.
This boy is a witness for sure! thumbsup.gif

Thanks everyone. It's easy to get pulled in to the whole business aspect of things, especially this time of year. I think it is good to force ourselves to give back regularly. If you have a gift, use it to bless a stranger. It makes life a whole lot more fun that way smile.gif

I was just going to ask the same question. One thing I've been thinking of doing (especially every since my second born was hospitalized at birth 5 years ago. Was that I wanted to offer something like this to families with sick children. My initial thoughts were of parents of preemies who can't take their babies home for weeks/months, but want to have some photos of them that are beyond point and shoot. I have a photo of Regan in the hospital that I took at the time (prior to being a professional photographer, but I've had the passion for photography since high school) that I just treasure. Being able to look back now and have that memory of him warms my heart to remember how rocky his life started out, but how strong he is now. wub.gif

Another client and their church have been helping this family out. They approached us with the idea.
