Two questions:

How do you show your work to clients who've seen your website but want more?

How do you present your clients with their proofs for wedding photos (on-line or hardcopy - and what companies/websites/products do you use)?

I think I've got it covered for my maternity/family clients - I'm getting bound books done up rather than 4x6 prints, but I'm not sure about weddings.

Thanks.

i offer online viewing in a password protected gallery, proofbooks, contact sheets or 4 x 6s. i feel the more you offer the better, there are still some people without broadband or home computers! really, there are.

i also have a printed portfolio that is updated on a monthly basis. i keep it ready to grab! i also have samples of everything i offer.

I do in-person proofing for my portrait work (spiral bound 5x5 bordered proofs from DPI and a slideshow) but online proofing for weddings. I don't do many local weddings and proofing in person for a wedding sounds like a monster task, so online is the ticket fer me.

I show a highlights slideshow first, within a day or two of the wedding, followed by an album predesign slideshow, followed by online proof galleries. I do offer proof magazines in my higher packages and available a la carte, ditto printed proofs, but the average wedding gets online proofing only.
