Okay so here's the thing.. I am a person who loves photography.. and I really want some help to improve my photos... but first of all .. haha.. plz talk in a way I'll be able to understand.. lol like fully describe everything.. please.. otherwise i will have no idea what you're talking about..

So what I'm really wanting help on.. is Lighting..
I love the really green profession pretty type of backgrounds... If you know what I mean...
Some ways that it really looks professional..
So I need some help knowing what I should use.. I've been using a bright bright lamp.. it's been creating some neat pics.. but I definitely need some other things to improve my photos..
Maybe reflectors? Would I just take an ordinary mirror to make that affect? If so.. where would I place the reflector to make it a really cool affect?
Anyways.. thanks soo much for you time..
Blessings to you all..

Not trying to evade answering your questin here but do you have any photography books?

By the sound of your post I am thinking that it will be pretty hard to answer you with all the information you need in a forum. There are many books on portrait photography with some very good lighting diagrams and examples of the lighting they produce.

There are a lot of very helpful folks on here and maybe some of them will be more talented in being able to give you the info you are looking for than I would be in just a forum posting.

good luck. smile.gif

Can we see what you are talking about. Give us links to what you like and please Google a bit. You can also try http://www.strobist.blogspot.com/.

What your asking for is a lot. There really isn't any way for someone to teach you everything you need to know in one post.

There is a lot more to photography than a good camera and a set of lights. I think the best thing you can do at this point is read, read, read, a really great book to start with is Understanding Exposure by Brian Petersen and then after that The Master Lighting Guide for Portrait Photographers by Christopher Grey.

After that practice and post some shots and people will be able to give you tips on how to improve.
