We are FINALLY done giving a DVD of images to every couple that books with us (don't know why it took us so long), BUT here's my question . . .
I noticed many photographers are including proof books into their packages and I would like to know:
1. what kind, size, etc. do you use
2. for events with 1000+ images does this get really costly?
any info would be awesome! thanks

Tag...I'm on the fence about giving my clients the CD/DVD of images. I've been including it in every package. I'm just about to switch from giving 4x6 prints to offering proofbooks. I think I am going to use the 8.5 x 11 proofbooks from WHCC with 12 images per page.

We do 8.5x11 proof magazines from Millers - less expensive than WHCC. We print 12 wedding photos per page. It is pretty small, but it is really just so they have a record of all the wedding photos once they are no longer online. We used to include it in all of our packages. We are kind of getting away from that and include it with anyone who purchases the digital negatives from the entire wedding as a reference for them.
