Full Version: Background color in InD?
OpenSourcePhoto > Show Your Stuff! > Album Design
Hope
Probably a dumb question, but I've Googled and haven't found the answer.

If I'm creating an album layout in InDesign, how do I change the background color of the template I'm working with?

I've looked and looked! Then again, it's 5 a.m. so it could be staring me right in the face and I wouldn't know it. In which case, feel free to slap me with a trout.

you cant just make the background a different colour... it needs something to colour - draw a rectangle, zero it to the top left hand corner and make it the exact dimensions of the page - then just assign the swatch of your choice to this rectangle... make sure its arranged to the back of the page. (CTRL+SHFT+[)

did you create the template or download it from somewhere?

good luck!
