A little tilt. When I first saw tilted photographs I hated them, but now they seem to have a energy that you just do not get with a straight on shot.

I love it! A stellar local photographer here in SB, Jose Villa, was my first exposure to this! In certain shots in can add a lot of impact! I love the clouds in yours too!

...because of the type of forum we have (InvisionBoard) sometimes threads get buried so don't feel bad resurrecting your own if others get dumped on top of it.

I was the same way with tilts too. I always thought, oh, people tilt because they want it to look artsy...and I wasn't all about forcing it. But, after I started using it, I realized a little tilt goes a long way. I remember shooting a wedding a while ago...and almost every shot was tilted...I had to cut back. Now I used it selectively and it's FUN! And I think it works nicely with your shot.

I used to hate the tilt...I would even crop and rotate to make sure power poles were completely at 90 angles.

I started doing the tilt when I realized how it can really punch up some photos that would ordinarily be pretty bland. I am not even sure when the "tilt" kicked in, but it has. I sometimes will snap it straight and then tilt. I really like the effect on vertical portraits.

I love it now, but I have to be careful not to over use it.
