Ok so I am getting alot of inquiries about destination weddings lately and in figureing out how to price I came accross this question. How many of you shoot with 2 photographers or take 2 people like an assistant. My husband and I work together so what I have done so far is price the travel for 2 people and then we offer options for video (that is what he does) but whether or not he does video we both go (if no video he works as my second shooter). However this really shoots the travel budget up. What do you think?

Luckily you can save cost on hotel if you're bringing your hubby For a destination to a place I'm not familiar with I couldn't imagine NOT having at least 1 other person along to help (either assistant or 2nd shooter - whatever your style). Makes sense to me

I have done destination weddings and all of them have had 2 photographers in the package. I just tell the client that they can book the travel info if they have miles or I will and just show them the receipts from the airlines. I also add a food perdium per day. They know that they will be forking up some cash so dont be afraid to make money on destination weddings.
