Showit™ handles the opening of the image -> applying the effect(s) -> flattening and saving the image, and then opening of the next image.
Here are the steps that I've found to work the best, keep in mind that I've only used the program on location twice so if anybody has suggestions please post them up!
1. While downloading jpegs to your computer have Adobe Bridge open and directed towards the folder you are downloading to. This allows Bridge to start creating the thumbnails while you continue to download. This is key b/c the quicker you have the thumbnails selected the quicker you can get them cranking with Showit™
2. After you finish downloading and Bridge has created your thumbnails, scroll through (I like to use filmstrip view set with the thumbnails on the right side of the screen - see attached screenshot) the whole wedding and drag out your favorite shots and place them into a separate folder. I drag them into the "Dfavs" folder that you can see in the screenshot (If you hold down the alt key while you're dragging it will create a copy of the file instead of moving the file).

3. Once you have your 30 - 50 shots saved in the new folder you will direct Bridge to that folder and then select all the images (apple, A)
4. Now go back to Photoshop (I use the shortcut in the Favorites menu of Bridge) or Apple-Tab your way back and then run Showit™!!!

5. Showit™ will tell you how many files are selected in Bridge and in this case that is the option you will use. You'll notice that you can also run Showit™ on files already open in Photoshop.

6. Select "OK" and Showit™ will open your first image along with the effects screen.

7. Have fun trying out different effects and combining effects! Also, notice that there is an "Undo" button which will take you back to the opening state of that image. When you have an image the way you want it just click "Save" and it will automatically flatten, save, close, and open the next image for you.
8. After your last file Showit™ will close and you'll be ready to rock & roll!
* Several of the effects allow you to increase the amount of the effect by applying it multiple times. Both Vignette effects and LB make use of this.
* The "Dress Magic" and "LB" effect need custom erasing so a dialogue will pop up when those are applied and tell you what to do. Also, be sure to use the "Next" button when wanting to leave a file open for further editing in Photoshop because clicking the "Save" button will flatten and close the image.

I can't wait to hear how it works for all of you! As with any piece of software there will be a little bit of a learning curve and it's never fun adjusting your workflow, but I'm sure once you get used to it you'll find that this is an amazing program that will not only save you time but also help you create a cooler show and get more clients!
