My name is Joe and I am from Katy, Texas just west of Houston. I joined a few weeks back and thought I might as well post something besides just lurking around.
I'm pretty new to photography but have always had a real passion for it. Just not sure which direction I want to go with it. I just recently bought a 30D, 17-55IS, 70-200L 2.8IS and a 580EX. Mostly just shooting my two sons and taking in as much info as I can. I must say this site is one of the best I have come across yet. Very inspirational. Everyone on here seems to be really helpful.
Anyway...glad to be here and can't wait to post my first photo!
