Okay, I thought that I was close to being done with my logo but when I presented to a few select people, I got less than great reviews. I realize everyone has an opinion and in the end it is what I like but logos can be obviously bad looking to most people and I do NOT want one of those logos!! I am looking at the infinity one and the two different versions of the circles(#3 & K) , the one on the white and one on the black. I of course will change the colors. My website has a black background. I want to attract highend and fun clients, who doesn't! I will have a wedding site and a portrait site. http://www.bludomain1.com/sharapisowicz/ I was told that one of these logos does not match my style. Just look at my site so far, (not launched yet) and give me your two cents. I will be using the green for the wedding accent and the blue for the portrait site. Please only look at the two circle versions and the infinity versions and tell me what you think about those. I know some of you might like some of the others better but at this point I am only considering the circles and infinity. This has been one head banging experience. I love the very fist one...a LOT! There are some other really great logos in that group, but the first one stands out the most to me and looks great with both a black and a white background. Who did these...you or someone else? I'm going to be hiring someone to design my logo in the next few months.

The girl that I hired is Kira on ebay for $89! She has unlimited revisions, whatever it takes till you are both happy. GREAT deal!!!! I like her fresh ideas. Poor girl has worked her bottom off for me.

What is she giving you for $89? What kind of files are included in that price? That is a great price if she gives all the files of the selected logo.

She will design business cards, letterhead, watermark and it will be in several different formats including Vector which from what I understand is the most versatile. Can be used for huge signs or little things. I am not real familiar with all the details because this is my first experience getting a logo. You will get one logo. She is making one for white background, business cards, letterheads and such. Also, one for my black website. Hope that helps, I can't see your attachments to be able to fully understand your question.

My thoughts, in order:

1-4
1 - The symbol is tucked away almost invisibly. Text is not a logo.
2 - (other white one) - same.
3 & 4, same on black.

1-10
1 - Text is not a logo, the symbol is sorta floating there.
2 - Text is not a logo, the symbol is sorta floating there.
3 - Better - usable as you could also just put a S in a circle for the logo wherever you needed.
4 - I like the brackets but again Text is not a logo.
5 - Love the SL in this one best so far. Like the two-color name. This wins out of everything above.
6 - def not.
7 - def. not.
8 - "So .. are you Lana?" Text is not a logo.
9 - Could work - that one's nice but a bit busy.
10 - def not.

a-k (overall the best group)
a - Text is not a logo.
b - odd symbol - i dont like the symbol much.
c - a bit busy, not terrible. Hate the words underneath.
d - Not diggin the spider.
e - no.
f - Not bad - not great.
g - no? what is the moon for? I don't get it.

j - Text is not a logo, symbol is hidden
k - again not bad. could work.

I dunno - I've just looked through all of them pretty seriously and I don't see one that says "WOW! That's it!" in there. Maybe you do - that's up to you. But imho, you don't have it yet.

Matt...does that mean that you don't have a logo since yours is just text with a symbol behind it? Why can't text and a graphic be considered a logo? Curious...

The new site is pretty cool...can't wait to waste some time surfing it later.

The Circle and Infinity design are the only two that I am considering at this point. I just want a vote for Circles or Infinity , That would help me the most. Thanks to ALL that have already replied. I really appreciate it!!! This has been an amazing forum thus far and I am so GRATEFUL!!!!!

I am sorry. I meant nothing by the Bold letters other than to grab the attention of others that may be so kind to post so they could maybe give me what I was asking for and not miss what the post was about. I wish I knew how to take them out of their attachment but I think that my designer purposely made them untouchable. Let me clarify, the first page is the infinity design. They're all the same, just showing different backgrounds and the infinity design is gray in one set and blue in the other. The second and third page are labeled and in my first post I named them by their label #3 and K. One is simple on a white background and the other a bit edgy on a black. Sorry once again for the confusion.

Got it! The infinity design definitely looks more professional than the circles design. As a professional graphic designer... I think that the circles design appears amateurish.

I think that the infinity is your choice! Now... tell your designer that you're a big fan of the infinity design and are interested in seeing the same design with other font options. I think that because your font is wacky... it takes away from the infinity design... too much going on there... I think that the font is battling the symbol. Yes, I'm a dork!

Here are a few fonts that come to mind: Cochin, Hoefler (?), Big Caslon, Optima, Zapfino... JUST KIDDING...

You're off to a great start though
