The inspiration finally came for a logo that encompasses all of my photography loves!

My tree site gets over a thousand visitors a day now! Woo hoo! So it seemed like a cool idea to bring the trees into my portrait photography identity. But I didn't want people to think I was all about trees, so I stayed away from leaves on purpose. I wanted a feeling of love in there somehow, and a leaf just didn't say love.

Until it dawned on me that the redbud trees featured on my tree site have HEART-SHAPED leaves. Voila!

Ewwww.... i love it! I think that it is very retro yet fresh and kind of groovey too! it speaks to a little of all the styles... what a blend!

I might try a slightly different font for "lifestyle" and "photography" ... it's a tad hard to read, and I don't think it 100% jives with the rest of the very wonderful design.

I dunno why, but it reminded me a lot of the "I Dream of Jeannie" logo. I know, they don't even look close to each other but that was the first thing that popped in to my head.

...and I LOVED that show so that must be a good thing!

LOL! I think it is that retro 60-70's feel it has going on!! I thought that it reminded me of another similar movie, but couldn't put my finger on it. I looooove it! Wish I had created it! It kind of reminded me of the title to james and the giant peach movie... but only the feel!! it doesn't look like a mock up or anything of it. I pasted the image...

I really like the idea. To me, it felt a little bottom heavy, and a little too wide. Forgive the crude transform I did on the leaf/heart, but what do you think of this arrangement?

I like it Jules but the leaf didn't really say leaf to me, it was more heart. Maybe add some veins (lightly) to say leaf more.

It may be nicer if the J gets cut off instead of swirling back around to the W ? I keep wanting to make it a C.
