I took a month off from Pro Photography show just after my wedding. Along with honeymooning I did lots of research on HDR for a two part series on HDR for PPS. Both episodes are out, and will give you lots of info on what I learned about HDR.

All I can say is WOW!!! When used correctly HDR can work magic with images (yes even people pictures) I plan on using some HDR in nearly all future shoots, and it's already being adopted into my workflow just to give you an idea of how neat it can be.

If you want to hear about HDR you can listen to these episodes, or just download them from itunes. Both shows are nearly an hour long, and about two thirds of each one is about HDR. I plan on combining just the HDR information in to one track in the future for those who just want the info without listening to me talk about photo news, respond to emails, etc. If anyone wants that version let me know and I'll post it once I have it. If you want the gritty details now heres the links.

Gavin the woman in the dress and the water...wow! As you said in your podcast the dress looks kind of transparent where things moved which adds to the shot nicely! I forget if you mentioned it but is this maybe your wife? Congradualations man. I wish you all the best and since the Lord is with you it should be a wild ride! smile.gif

I'm so glad you posted this! I've read up on HDR and played with it a tiny bit, but I've never taken the time to really experiment with it. I can't wait to listen to what you've shared. Your images here are just phenomenal!!
